Who else loves gnome, fairy or enchanted trees? I do....and dreamed of making one for many years. Well now that I am retired I have a bit more time to do just that.
Following a recent wind storm that blew down a big part of a red bud tree in my front yard so began my journey of building that enchanted tree.
So when life gives you a broken tree; you make tree art? Right?
Join me as I create the enchanted tree; also known as fairy tree or gnome tree.
First I cleared all the small limbs then my brother-in-law sawed that large part about 5 feet from the base. The remaining large limbs I will keep until I decide what they would be good for....lol - another project.
Now my tree stump has started out a bit different. Since there was no stump left standing I decided if I could dig down deep enough then I could "plant" it.
Stay tuned to part 2.
